Some times you just have to decide that you want to do something you'll be proud of.
I've spent the last nine months making WebSketch, and the three months before that making a prototype of the web page editor. If you want to know what it takes to make something like this from nothing, think incessant lack of sleep, unwavering passion, relentless attention to detail, and at times pure will.
I have to admit that there is definitely some satisfaction in showing people that you've already done what they try to tell you can't yet be done.
